Your export stays on your device.

That's the whole design. Here's exactly what happens, and the little we do collect.

Last updated November 4, 2026.

Your Instagram export

When you choose your export, your browser opens and compares the files on your own device. The file, the usernames in it and your results are never uploaded to us or anyone else. You can check this: load the site, turn on airplane mode, and add your file. It still works.

We never ask for your Instagram password, and the site never connects to your Instagram account.

What's saved on your device

If you mark accounts as Done or Kept, those marks are saved in your browser's local storage so they're still there next time. They stay on that device and browser. Clearing your browser's site data removes them, as does the "Clear Done and Kept" button on the tool.

What we count

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It records things like which page was viewed, the referring site, and your browser and country in aggregate. It never receives your export, your username or your results.

Like any website host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Links to Instagram

The Open buttons take you to profiles on instagram.com or the Instagram app. What happens there is covered by Instagram's own privacy policy.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we add something new, such as a sponsor's banner, we'll update this page before it goes live and change the date above.
